Galacticos Ready for Newtonabbey Challenge

After a narrow defeat at champions Cookstown Athletic last weekend, the Ballymoney boys are up against a resilient 14th Newtonabbey side on St Patrick's Day. The Ticos were outdone by a wonder goal by Paolo Monteiro in the 28th minute and struggled to create any clear chances against a big Cookstown defence. Stephen Shiels had easily the best chance of the game but volleyed his shot into the keepers chest. The Galacticos could also have had a late penalty after Alan McConaghie was tripped in the box. David "Makelele" McKee said, "What do you have to do to get a penalty, it was stonewall!"

Where's Bulbs?

Where could he be? Clearing balls off the line maybe? Go to the fan page to find out!

Where's The Galactico Team?

Yet again it looks as if McConaghie will have to go through his phonebook a few times to gather 11 players together after another host of players have pulled out of this weeks squad. Mark Gillan, Aaron Dickie, Paul Burnside, Richard Cooper, Stephen Shiels and Russell Athletic are all absent. Anybody free this weekend give the manager a call or email the club. Seriously.
